 E.P. College of Education, Amedzofe Held It's 14th Graduation Ceremony for the 2020 Year Batch



Saturday, on the 17th of April, 2021, E. P. College of Education, Amedzofe held it's 14th graduation ceremony at the Forecourt of the school premises for the 2020 year batch. The 2020 year batch was made up of 206 students who graduated with Diploma in Basic Education (DBE) with 2 obtaining First class honours, 73 Second class upper, 85 Second Class Lower, 29 Third Class passes17 pass. 

Master Azaglo Wisdom, was pronounced the best performing student followed by Master Nyavor Raymond second-bestnd best performing student. 


Master Azaglo  Wisdom, the valedictorian, during his valedictory speech called on his colleagues to pursue their purpose in life as it was the only thing that willfulfillmentfilment in their lives.  During his valedictory speech, he humbly requested that a standing ovation and a moment of silence be observed for one of their own who painfully passed on a few months to this event.


The august occasion was graced with dignitaries including; The moderator of the E. P. Church of Ghana Provost Marshal of the 66 Artillery Regiment - Volta Barracks, various principals from sister colleges, just to mention a few. Madam Elizabeth Ohene, the Senior Advisor to the office of the president, who was the special guest of honour, called on graduands to be dedicated and diligent when they go to the field and made several references to one of the world’s greatest philosophers, Abraham Lincoln. The graduation ceremony for the 2020 year batch was the first to take place across the 46 colleges of Education.


The principal, Dr. Tsey Dickson also addressed the congregation and appealed to various Stakeholders and institutions to come to the aid of the school and help out with the numerous challenges it is faced with, particularly Infrastructural problems. He seized  the opportunity to invite all and sundry to the upcoming 75th Anniversary of the school coming off in October this year. 


Awards were also presented to the Best performing students and Most behaved student in the form of cash prizes and kind by Mr. Amasu Prince and The management of the Student body accordingly. It's been an uphill battle but the Lord who began it has surely accomplished it. To our decorated graduands we say Ayekoo and fare thee well!!!


The ceremony was climaxed with a celebration dance by the graduants who expressed their joy and excitement.

Kudos to the Principal, Dr. Tsey Dickson, the distinguished guest, the graduands, the lovely ladies and gentlemen who were present for making the ceremony a memorable one.
